Will the Lyric C1 camera detect the sound if it’s installed on the 2nd floor and the smoke alarm sound comes from the 1st floor?

As long as the distance from the camera to the source of the beeping smoke detector is within the 15 meter (49 feet) range, even if it's partitioned, the sound will be detected.
