Truesteam or Steam branded Humidfier Maintenance

For a TrueSteam or Steam branded humidifier you should remove the bucket and clean the bucket of debris and scale using vinegar or CLR. Inspect your drain line for cracks and for debris. If necessary, flush your drain line with vinegar or CLR to clear it of debris. If you cannot clear the line or it is cracked, have it replaced. All other service and checks should be performed by a licensed and certified HVAC contractor.
