My mp3 doorbell (series 9 RDWL917A) does not activate when the doorbell push is pressed while connect to my computer.

When you connect the mp3 doorbell (series 9 RDWL917A) to a computer via the USB lead, it will switch to edit mode and the doorbell sound output is turned off.
