How do I reset the WiFi on my Lyric?

The simplest way to reset the WiFi on your Lyric thermostat is to do it manually. Please follow the instructions on the video below for a visual guide on how to complete this procedure.
You can also reset the WiFi on your Lyric by following these steps:
- If you have a Lyric™ T5 or a Lyric™ T6 (square models):
- Press and hold the center temperature (indoor temperature) on your thermostat for 5 seconds until the screen changes;
- On your mobile device (laptop, smartphone or tablet) download the Resideo App from the App store or Google Play;
- Open the Honeywell Lyric app. Your thermostat should appear under Thermostat Found. Tap SET UP NOW as shown here to continue. If your thermostat doesn’t appear, tap INSTALL A DEVICE and follow the prompts to continue. The app will walk you through the rest of the setup.
- If you have a Round thermostat, press and hold the Weather icon on the thermostat for approximately 5 seconds, as seen in the image below. This will remove the thermostat from the WiFi network and enable you to go through the WiFi connection process with your new router. Your previous Lyric settings will be retained.
If Lyric is not finding the home WiFi network, please note that Lyric operates in the 2.4GHz range. That may be why the thermostat does not see the network but the smartphone, which operates in both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz range, sees the network. Most routers will broadcast two networks, one SSID on the 5.0 GHz radio and one SSID on the 2.4 GHz radio.
In a home that does not have WiFi, Lyric can still work, but as a basic thermostat. However, please note that key features, including location based temperature control and custom shortcuts, require a WiFi connection.
