Does the Lyric include compressor protection?

Yes. Some heating and cooling systems include a compressor. If you have a system with a compressor, cycling the system on and off too rapidly puts extra strain on its compressor, increasing wear and tear as well as the risk of damaging the system. Therefore, every time your heating or cooling system's compressor turns off, Lyric protects it by enforcing a 5 minute waiting period before it can be restarted again. This waiting period cannot be changed.
