*When configuring your thermostat, it is important to configure it correctly for your system type. Incorrectly configuring your thermostat can lead to inefficient operation and in extreme cases, damage to your system*
When first installed and powered on, the thermostat will guide you through the initial configuration. You will require the user manual to navigate the numbered settings. Click here for a digital copy for the RTH6580WF1, click here for a digital copy for the TH6320WF1.
Configuring during initial setup:
When powered, after setting the time and date, the thermostat will display 2 sets of numbers, one set on the left of the display and one set on the right. Use the User Guide to configure your thermostat for your system. After finishing the setup, the thermostat will control your heating and cooling system normally.
WiFi – After installing your thermostat, WiFi Setup will display on your thermostat screen. This indicator means your thermostat is broadcasting it’s own WiFi network and is ready to be paired.
